Come out and celebrate the year’s accomplishments, meet fellow members, and offer a round of applause for our advocate and volunteer awardees.

The movement has grown by leaps and bounds over the past few years, and there are many wins to recognize and celebrate together.

New this year, we’ll be hosting a panel discussion with advocacy partners who will share their experience working on some of 2024’s biggest campaigns, with advice and tips for advocates looking to win change in their communities. Panelists include:

  • Charlie Saxe, from Suburban Advocates for Safe Streets, will be speaking about a new coalition of north/northwest suburban advocates
  • The McKinley Park Development Council’s Eladio Montenegro will be speaking about community-led street assessments/audits
  • Rony Islam, from Chicago Bike Grib Now!, will be speaking about the North DuSable Lake Shore Drive coalition work

 

CONNECT WITH FELLOW ADVOCATES

The evening kicks off with a happy hour so you can connect with fellow members, supporters, and Active Transportation Alliance staff. You can also expect:

  • Updates on 2024’s biggest campaigns and advocacy wins from around the region.
  • Awards celebrating the work of our dedicated advocates and volunteers (see below).
  • Voting for our Board of Directors.
  • Complimentary food from Nandos’ PERi-PERi and Dimo’s Pizza.
  • Two free Revolution brews.
  • One entry in our door prize raffle of a $100 Wheel & Sprocket gift card (must be in attendance to win!).

This event is free to register (or a $10 suggested donation) and registration includes food and two drink tickets.
